Tips on visiting Stonehenge

when visiting stonehenge 

1. visit the visitor center to get the audio guide

                 Food, drink and bathrooms  are only at                  the visitor center

                 

2. you can pick up a bus from either the stop near

the tour buss parking area 

view as you walk around

When you take the bus from the visitor center to stonehenge it takes about 15 minutes note how long the line is to get back. If you need to catch a tour bus keep that in mind.

 there is a walkway around the monument but you cannot get too close
